Japanese Religion

For this assignment, you will choose a topic related to Japanese religion and explore in depth. You will conduct research on the topic and collect sources for a bibliography. After you read each source carefully and critically, please compile an annotated bibliography with a brief description and evaluation of the sources. In addition to the annotated bibliography, you will also summarize your findings.
Your assignment should consist of the following three parts.
1. Topic
Your topic must be related to Japanese religion
It could be one of the six themes we have learned in the course, or you can explore a more specific topic of your own interest
Write a brief description explaining what your topic is and why you are interested in the topic (100-250 words)
2. The annotated bibliography

Use the MLA citation format and be consistent with it
Use a minimum of 7 sources that includes 5 academic sources
If you are aiming for extra credit, use a minimum of 10 sources including 8 academic sources
Each source should be accompanied by a 100-150 word annotation
Write annotations in paragraphs using complete sentences
What are the main points? What is the argument?
How credible is the source? How current? Any biases?
How useful is it for learning your topic about Japanese religion?

3. Findings and conclusion
Write a discussion of what you have learned from your research. (200-300 words)
