What is the Anglo Saxon Core and what has been it’s impact on American society and ethnic relations? (you will answer this based on this unit’s readings)

Answer this question: The first Africans arrived in Jamestown in 1619 but as you know from your reading and the web information about the development of slavery and the history of Anthony Johnson there is an argument to be made that not all Africans were initially treated as slaves but more akin to indentured servants. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Why or why not? Make sure you consider the history of African Americans during the 17th century and the events that lead you to your conclusions.
