We have been keeping in mind how people have interpreted inalienable and natural rights in the United States. As we progress through the decades of the 19th century, we see that these rights change with the context of the times. Reading the Declaration of Sentiments, Stewart and Truth above, answer each of these questions in short answer form (2-3 sentences):

What do all of these sources have in common, that is, what are their goals when they ask for social reform in regards to women?
How do the Declaration of Sentiments contrast with the excerpts of the Stewart and Truth, 2 black women in the Antebellum age of the 19th century? In other words, what are the challenges that black women faced in addition to those of women in white American society?
Addressing all three sources, make an argument about Antebellum America. “Antebellum America….”
