Gordon Rule Assignment
This class is Gordon Rule class, which means each student must complete 1500 written words to pass the class. I have divided the assignments into 2, ThemovieReview and A Research Paper. Each of these assignments must be completed, turned in with a C or better to get credit for this class. If they assignments are not turned in, you cannot pass this class, regardless of what grade you received on your quizzes.
Research paper
The research paper must be 12,00 words, using a disorder from the DSM IV, which is the Diagnostic Statistical manual for mental disorders 4th edition revised. You must have an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. You must have a cover page and a resource page (works cited) page, each paper will have a word count .The disorder should be described in detail and treatment options should be explored. The writing must be organized, coherent and have very few errors, with regards to grammar and spelling. If you need aIDitional help with your writing please go to the Writing Lab. You will be using the APA method to cite your resources;you can find this in ourwebsite. You must cite where you found your information, if you do not it is considered plagiarism. Each paper will have a minimum of 6 sources and not exceed 9 sources of information. If a paper is turned in late it will be dropped 1 letter grade for each day it is late. The paper will be due March 12, 2013, at the beginning of class. A hard copy must be turned in; I do not accept e-mail copies. I strongly suggest you print the paper the day before class so there are no issues with printers on the morning of class. If you have questions please ask them in class on Friday. Good Luck!
