For this assignment, you are to develop a career path plan for you to follow. You will evaluate your current training and higher education using the model on page 59 of your textbook as a guide. Develop a two-page reflection paper about where you are in your career path, and include a plan of action to prepare you to meet the requirements of a Fire Administrator or Fire Chief.

Within your plan, you will want to discuss where you are within your degree plan and the goal to complete it and look at obtaining other requirements, such as a master’s degree or even a designation as listed on the model.

Be sure to address all of the following items.

Discuss your goals for fire training and goals for higher education.

Discuss your higher education opportunities.

Describe the components of the National Professional Development Model that you will use in your career path.
