Discussion – Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are a required component of presenting or publishing a project assignment. An abstract is a complete but concise description of your entire project. In writing the abstract of an upcoming presentation, I have to identify the purpose, significance, and results of the project. Answering these questions will provide you with a guide for creating the presentation.
Review Ch. 10, pp. 237–240, of Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-based Practice and “Call for Abstracts: Are You Ready?” from the University Library.
Develop a 600-word abstract for the oral presentation of a practicum project proposal (see attached). Follow the guidelines for presentation abstracts as defined in the above articles. Let’s say that I have not yet implemented the project, the abstract will be for a project proposal.
