Students will describe common group activities and intervention likely (elderly clients are often dealing with overwhelming change, loss and deaths of loved ones for example), and identify activities and/or education that is beneficial with this age group.
Part Two: Students will focus on creating a developmentally appropriate group by describing the specific physical, cognitive and social/emotional, cultural changes along with common areas for a nonnormative developmental issue (e.g. autism). Students will describe common group activities and intervention likely (what would you be likely to cover in a group of autistic children for example), and identify activities and/or education that are beneficial with this population
