Final Project

This final project consists of the application of Machiavelli’s ideas to entrepreneurship strategy. This project concentrates on different ideas of Machiavelli that can be used in the management of companies, leadership questions, and power-sharing. Many practical pieces of advice are given in this part for political leaders in business environments. Political leaders do not mean leaders in politics but CEOs (and entrepreneurs) who have power (top of the hierarchy) and lead the organization and people.

The project consists of the following requirements:

Part 1. Identify the ways that leaders can use/benefit from Machiavelli’s ideas. Make a list of ten (10) ideas that you think offer practical advice to business leaders.

Part 2. Describe in detail each of the ten ideas and describe how a business leader can benefit from these ideas –provide practical examples—minimum 5 pages of discussion, half-page per idea. To meet the minimum, you need to be extremely precise and clear on your ideas. I would be paying attention to clarity and detail.

Part 3. In an effort to achieve balance in life, describe the boundaries you will place on these ideas in your life, ways in which you will rearrange your personal life around these ideas—minimum 5 pages.

Note: The assignment needs to be single-spaced with the appropriate format for a final project. Don’t leave extra space in the attempt to cover more unneeded space.
