D01 week5 Keyword Entry and commenting

Description

Integrate some aspect of Aditi’s slides and *in addition to* one or more elements from the readings for this week: the Empathy Map, “Design Thinking,” and “Changing Technologies, Lasting Innovations”.  Basically, bring one or more readings into what did you learn from the readings that you can add to what Aditi was teaching about UX and UI?  No outside sources required. There are two parts of this assignment, Keyword Entry and Commenting.  Detailed instructions: Keyword Entry: Make sure you are writing about 250 words (not too many more and not much less). Identify which word, concept or phrase you are writing about as your keyword or concept. Use your own summary AND direct quotations from the text (with page numbers) to demonstrate that you understand the complexity of the term in the context of the argument or ideas of the author of the reading you are referencing. Include the Works Cited at the bottom. Make sure to use the author’s name when you are talking about his/her work. Commenting: Two *constructive* questions or comments (of approx. 50 words each, 100 words in total) on your colleague’s keyword entries. Engaging critically with the material, or commenting, or making constructive questions. Please check file “D01 Commenting week6” which comes with two students’ keyword entries you need to comment separately. Descriptive Rubric Range: Shines Bright like a Diamond (SB) – Question/comment is thoughtful and reflects that the student is engaged with the readings in a way that reflects some complexity. Showing Up is Half the Battle (SU) – Question/comment shows that you showed up with a question/comment, but does not reflect an engagement with complexity of ideas/discussion, etc. Hello…?
