Cleveland Heights High School Engineering Tolerancing Paper Tolerancing is an important part of designing products that actually fit together. The r2d2 project that you were working on needs to actually fit together. To make sure that happens, in engineering we use tolerancing to communicate to the manufacturer what sizes items can be made. You need to write a 4 to 6 page research paper explaining:

1) the different types of tolerances

2) how they are used and applied to manufacturing

3) how this is applied to building r2d2.

If you want to use noodle tools to do your works cited that would be appropriate, but if you are not familiar with it, you can use any appropriate source. You must have a Works Cited page in APA format.

List 4 or more sources you will use in your paper. Google is acceptable. Each source should be summarized with attached document or link.
