1. You work with Chris Greenbaum, production manager at Marquee Productions.
Chris has asked you to create the direct wages budget for the company’s remote
location film shoot. Create and save 2-MPLocBudg , create the worksheet shown in
Figure 2.1. Note: The logo is a file named MPLogo.
2. Link the values in the Estimated Daily Rates table (columns H and I) to the Daily
Rate column (column E) in the budget section.
3. Calculate the extended cost by summing the number of days for site prep, shoot, and
cleanup and then multiplying by the daily rate.
4. Calculate the total in cell F13.
5. Apply formatting options as shown and then apply number formatting to the values
in columns E, F, and I, using an appropriate number format. Use your best judgment
to determine the font, font size, column widths, borders, and fill colors. 6. Although
not visible in the figure, a border should also be applied along the top (columns A–
F) and left edges (rows 1–13) of the budget cells so that, when printed, the entire
budget has a perimeter border.
