The type of business that is I am looking to launch is primarily service-oriented and will be a specialized healthcare industry service where product utility and application are involved in the services.

Business Idea

The rapid technology integration in the healthcare industry is evident in Australia. The country also has a number of potential opportunities of exploiting this technology to better service delivery. I therefore plan to come up with a mobile application which will be offering social support towards chronically and terminal patients. In the current technology era, most people have turned out to utilize their mobile phones in facilitating a number of activities in their daily activities. This has also triggered mobile application vendors to come up with application meant to address specific tasks. Availability of a customized mobile application specifically offering social support to patients will play a significant role in ensuring that patients get the comfort which they need and help, whether emotional, instrumental or informational. The services to be offered will be essential for patients unable to cater for these services from a healthcare facility on a regular basis. The information within the application need to be customized in a manner that it should contain all the information needed by patients using the service at any given time.

Patients will be expected to download and install the application in their respective mobile phones. In addition, they will be expected to upload their medical history and any records they might be having regarding treatments they have undergone previously. The mobile application developers will be expected to add more information regarding diagnosis from the existing medical history records. This will serve as a guiding tool on patients. The application will also allow patients add diagnosis information which is not available in the application information records. Patients will also be in a position of making medicine order once they are done with remote consultation from the appropriate individuals.
