 Building a Security Solution/Tool

Deliverable: (1) Presentation in ppt or similar, (2) demo (prototype working), and (3) a summary report maximum of 10 pages. The report must provide an overview about the system, how it works, components, tools used, preliminary results, discussions, conclusion and future work, etc.

Setup a Keylogger using Linux which have the following features: (1) get daily or real-time notifications (example: email alerts) about collected logs, and (2) run automatically the keylogger even after restart.

Setup a blockchain network. Use an already existing tool to join the blockchain network. An example of open source project that can be used here could be Ethereum.

Important: only open source software can be used.

Presentation Slides Guideline: You will need to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of  10 slides.

An example of a presentation structure:

1- Slide 1: Title page and cover, showing all team members, UD logo, date, topic, etc.

2- Slide 2: Outline (structure of the presentation)

3- Slide 3: Motivation, discussing the problem and giving real facts and why your work is important.

4- Slide 4: Approach (the method/technique used to achieve your goal)

5- Slides: Results + Demo on real machine showing the prototype

6- Slide before last: Discussion
7- Last slide: Conclusion and Future work
