Berkeley City College Peer Reviewed Journal Articles For this assignment, send me at least three peer-reviewed sources, however, I will allow 1 non peer-reviewed journal article as a source. Review your research question since this is the driving force for the research paper. If your research question is relatively precise by including social factors and social institutions, then you can include these words into the search. Generic and vague questions typically provide thousands of unusable articles. If you cannot find usable articles, then use different keywords. While searching for articles, choose to filter scholarly ‘peer reviewed

ACTIONS

’ sources and select the full article. Otherwise, the search may find unusable sources.

Once you find your sources, you can either download the articles to your computer, so you can easily use the articles at your own leisure or send the articles to your Google drive if you have connected Google drive to your account. Afterwards, send the articles to me as a .pdf.

Most sources from magazines, generic online articles, television, etc. are considered non-peer reviewed. Some examples of non peer-reviewed sources are from the New York Post, Washington Post, Huffington Post, CNN, Fox News, etc. The bulk of the sources from your research paper need to be peer-reviewed. These sources are from The Western Journal of Black Studies, Social Forces, Clinical Toxicology, Gender and Society, Journal of Health and Social Behavior, etc. If you do not know how to locate the sources, then I suggest watching the video to learn one method.

REMEMBER TO SEND ME THE PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL ARTICLES AS .PDF. DO NOT SEND LINKS TO THE ARTICLES.
