This is the polishing phase of your final essay, so you’ll include these two sections: Introduction and Conclusion and then order the essay based on your work in Modules 6-8 to present the final essay. This may sound strange, but you usually write the introduction as one of the last editing parts of your paper. By now, you know exactly what your paper is about, so the introduction is a bit easier to write. The introduction section of a paper is intended to provide the background information that is essential for the reader to understand the nature and broad scope of the problem you have selected. For this section, you want to make sure it is clear to the reader the issue being examined. The introduction helps the reader better understand the focus of your research paper. The introduction is NOT intended to be exhaustive! Maximum: 3 paragraphs. Conclusion Section F. The conclusion must be succinct and concise and wrap up the central theme of the paper. (2 paragraphs). Section G. References page. You need at least 3 scholarly sources (one source is the text) and follow formatting instructions based on MLA or APA style. Please make sure your paper is in Word document format and submit by the due date listed in our virtual classroom.
