Ashford University Melting Point of Butter and Cheese Experiment Lab Report One page report for each lab.

I will post 3 easy experiment that need to be done and write a one page lab report for each.

1- At home melting point lab.

You need a thermometer, chesse, butter, hot water. You are asked to measure the melting points of cheese and butter.

2- Solubility lab at home: (I) To a small vessel are added about 10-20 g of water and a tea spoon of salt. Shake it well. Is it soluble?

(II) Replace salt with sugar, repeat above experiment.

(III) To a small vessel are added about 10-20g of vegetable oil and a tea spoon of salt. Shake it well. Check if it is soluble.

(IV) Replace salt with sugar, repeat the experiment in

3- At home separation of a mixture : Estimate salt content in Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts.

Procedure: Weigh 6 servings of peanuts; To a glass are added the 6 serving’s Planters’s Dry Roasted Peanuts. Half cup of spring water is mixed well with peanuts. Decant the water into another cup. Dry the peanuts. Weigh them again.
