appeal against a decision made by a Visa officer to refuse the application of a Canadian visa
This is a letter/an essay to appeal against a decision made by a Visa officer to refuse the application of a Canadian visa application by a student from Africa who wishes to study in Canada.
The applicant is a 20-year-old student from Ghana who plans to study a bachelor’s degree program in Software Systems Engineering in Canada. She has a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Ghana and applied to study in Canada. She was offered admission into the University of Regina in Canada, but when she applied for the visa in December 2019, she was refused in February 2020. See refusal notes from the immigration officer.
The student is being sponsored by her Aunty who submitted evidence of sufficient financial resources to support her studies. The applicant is therefore of the opinion that she has met all the requirements and should not have been refused a visa in the first place. She wants to reapply and would need a support letter to challenge the refusal and reapply for the visa accordingly given that the reasons given by the officer have no basis. She demonstrated that her purpose of visit was to study, and she submitted her admission letters etc. She also submitted all the relevant financial documents from the sponsor, and therefore she is puzzled as to why her application was refused on the same reasons.
