HNB4M Evolution Factors of Global Fashion and Beauty Presentation UNIT TWO – History and Influences

FASHION by the DECADE

Success Criteria: Students will create a Fashion photo essay / Google Slides presentation on a selected decade from the 20th Century.

Step One: Research any decade (10 year period) from the year 1900 – 2000 from any country.

Step Two: Detail information on the popular music (styles) of that decade, the artistic movements associated with that decade, technology/technological advancements of the decade, political/economic (stock market/war?) etc.

Create slides for each of the above areas of interest and explain how art, music, politics, economy and technology had an impact on fashion designs/style, fashion culture and fashion production in that decade.
