ENG3420 Average Temperatures & Humidity in Fort Wayne Statistical Quality analysis I have a project that I need you to finish it using the “guidelines” and the “Example” files. All you have to do is find a data set and do exactly like the “Example” File. You can even copy it and change the data and the numbers from the file. It is not a long paper and I gave you the example file. So it is just about finding the data set. We are using “Minitab 18” for this class. You don’t have to look at the guideline file, because you are just gonna update the example file to the new data set and new description… etc, I am gonna attach both just in case you needed it. Statistical Research Project Example
Description
A statistical study was done on average temperatures and humidity in Fort Wayne for November,
December, and January.
Statistical Tools Summary
• Calculated a 95% confidence interval of temperature data for November in Fort Wayne (ch.
10)
• Stated the null and alternative hypotheses, completed a one-way ANOVA for November,
December, and January temperature data, interpreted the results of the ANOVA including a
decision on the null hypothesis, and gave a non-statistical explanation (ch. 11)
• Determined the simple linear regression equation for temperature (Y) as a function of the
humidity in November (X), determined if humidity should stay in the model, calculated Rsquared, and interpreted it by giving a non-statistical explanation (ch. 12)
• Determined the multiple linear regression equation for temperature in November (Y) as a
function of the humidity (X1) and the day of the month in November (X2), determined if the
day of the month should stay in the model, calculated R-squared, and interpreted it by giving
a non-statistical explanation (ch. 13)
