Initiative Q
A number of global payment systems have been developed across the world with the help
of modern day technology. Some of these payment systems include the following; PayPal, Skrill
and the cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Initiative Q is a new modern payment and
cryptocurrency system which is still being developed. If successful, Initiative Q is projected to be
among the world’s leading payment systems. This new payment system is recruiting users
through invite links and only requires one to provide their name and email address during the
signup process. However, as a new system, there are a lot of significant issues to be solved and
researched upon with regard to initiative Q. This research proposal aims at determining how
efficient and different Initiative Q is from other payment systems such as PayPal. Is the system
built from an entirely different idea or does it bear a resemblance to other payment systems?
The Research Methodology
Initiative Q has reportedly already recruited over two million new members through the
invite links. In determining how different this new system is from others, it will be of great
essence to collect data from those who have already signed up for this new system. This will be
done through the use of online questionnaires whose link can be shared on a number of social
media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram as well as WhatsApp. Important
information to be obtained include; the time when one signed up, the rating of the system by
each individual so far and whether these individuals find any difference between Initiative Q and
other digital payment systems, preferably PayPal, Skrill, and Bitcoin. Moreover, the
questionnaire will also seek to determine the main features of the system as observed by those

who have already signed up; this will be important in noting down any differences between
Initiative Q and the other Systems.
