Need help with my English question – I’m studying for my class.

1) What are some topics the first episode “One Planet” explores? Why do you think the first episode of the documentary series is named “One planet”? Reflecting on the episode, please describe two moments/scenes/examples that are impressive, curious, shocking, overwhelming, etc (or whatever other adjectives you wish to use) and explain why the two examples stand out to you most.

2) What does the title”Mapping the Void” refer to? What is “void” as indicated in the podcast? If you are to analyze the rhetorical situation of the podcast using the 5 elements we learned in class, what is your analysis?

3) How do speakers in the podcast “Mapping the Void” view and use the skills of mapping and the capacity of maps? What about their perspectives on mapping or maps differs from how you thought of maps or mapping prior to listening to the podcast? Please use textual examples from the podcast to support your answer.

4) Both “One Planet” and “Mapping the Void” present alternative ways of perceiving and even “making” the world we live in–alternative worldviews. What are they? How does each text intend to change how we as the audience approach/understand/contribute to the world we all live in?
