Online mode of delivery has been gaining traction in different parts of the world. More and more
learning institutions and students alike are choosing this mode of learning over traditional
methods with an increase in the innovation of technology. The study proposes a pilot survey to
understand the student’s level of satisfaction and relation to critical components of the online
delivery method of a graduate school class.
Objectives
Examine whether students are satisfied with the online delivery method of the class. Scrutinize
the overview of different aspects of the online delivery method of the class.
Research questions:
Is there a significant difference in student’s satisfaction with the online delivery method of a
class?
To what extent do the overview of different aspects of the online delivery method of class
The significance of the study:
The study seeks to understand the modalities surrounding the online delivery method of class and
their relation to student’s satisfaction.
Hypothesis
Difficulties in delivering online education to students are not significant in determining whether
students are satisfied with the online delivery method of the class.
The information in the syllabus expectations is not substantial to whether students are satisfied
with the class’s online delivery method.
Methods
The research makes use of a survey to collect data. Respondents are required to fill in the
information with regards to the questionnaire. Coding of collected data to follow, later
culminating in data cleaning and analysis. Analysis of data makes use of exploratory, descriptive
statistics.
Summary of findings
Male respondents were the majority, with 60% and Female respondents being 40%.

The cross-tabulation tables below shows the respondents strongly agree with course expectation
in equal measure for both yes and no level of satisfaction. Those who were satisfied strongly
disagreed with course expectation more than their counterparts who were not satisfied
Higher percentage frequency of respondents satisfied with online learning experienced difficulty
in online delivery. In comparison, a lower percentage frequency of respondents not satisfied with
online learning experienced difficulty in online delivery, as can be observed from the percentage
frequency chart below.
Postgraduate students had higher levels of satisfaction than their counterparts in Undergraduate
who had lower levels of satisfaction with Online learning. On the other hand, Postgraduate
students had lower levels of not being satisfied compares to Undergraduate who had higher levels
of not being satisfied with Online learning.
When asked whether the professor responds promptly, most of the respondents said yes, although
a substantial number of students said no. Observe the pie chart below.
According to the plot below, most of the students agreed that Online learning is more expensive,
followed closely with those who disagree, and strongly agree. In contrast, students who strongly
disagree had lower percentage frequency.
The table below shows 66% of the respondent claim that online learning is safer while 33% claim
that online learning is not safer

by those who agree. Students who strongly disagree and disagree had the lowest numbers
