Direct relief organization is a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization running all
through the United States and other eighty different countries in the world. The organization
aims, provide a better life to individuals affected by poverty, and provide relief to the citizens in
case of an emergency in the nations. Since the humanitarian organization does not depend on the
government, the organization receives its funding from volunteers and fundraising from all over
the world. Direct relief organization offers help to every individual despite their race, politics,
beliefs, or cultural values. The organization mainly focuses on the children to ensure that they
receive quality health programs and ensuring that mothers receive the required maternal health.
Direct relief ensures that the vulnerable population is prepared to deal with and conquer different
emergencies that arise in our modern society. The mission of the organization is to “improve the
lives and well-being of the citizens affected by having insufficiency resources and emergencies.”
The organization holds charities and fundraisings independently through different innovations.
Thus the organization is recognized and designated by the National association board of
pharmacy (NABP) and other medical traders; hence the organization grips memberships and
identifications in administrative agencies, jurisdictions, and prominent occupation organizations
(Godecki & Duquette, 2019).
The world is dealing with coronavirus pandemic. The virus is easily transmitted from one
person to another through the interaction with the infected saliva content or other means. The
virus is killing the people at high rates, and therefore the public must wear protective gear to
ensure that they’re safe from infections. The corona pandemic exposes the health workers to a
higher risk of infection since they deal with the infected and affected public directly. As a result,
the direct relief organization I working to provide protective gear to the health care worker. The
organization provides critical medication, emergency deliveries, and other different resources

required in the United States medical facilities to ensure that the health workers, protected
despite their race, culture, religion, or political values.
Additionally, the direct relief organization has partnered with regional response agencies
to provide protective wears worldwide. The immediate relief ensures the poor people in some
nations, for instance, Africa and other regions like South America, receive the required
protective wears and access the necessary medication even though they don’t have the money.
For example, recently, the direct relief organization has released some relief to a hospital in
Wuhan China, depleted the personal protective clothing like masks and gloves. The organization
aims to solve the problem of protective wear supplies globally during this corona pandemic.
From the current direct relief act in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic, we can deduce that the
degree of alignment between the organization and its mission, vision, values, and culture is very
high.
