we have to write a Feasibility analysis for our business idea.
It is a group project and my part is only conducting an Industry/Market feasibility which also includes:
A full SWOT analysis.
A full Competitor analysis.
And some other things that are written in the document that i’ve provided.
Basically we have a project that we have to come up with a business idea our business idea is now that Saudi Arabia is issuing tourist visas and more tourists are visiting the country we want to have a tour guide service that picks the tourist up from the airport and lets the tourist know about the culture about Saudi and its beautiful side. Also, the tour guide will help tourists discover Saudi and take them to our famous locations in the eastern province for example Al Ahsa Qara Mountain, Alsuwaiket street in AlKhobar and many more interesting famous places in the eastern region.
The tour guide should be able to speak different languages including English spanish, indian etc.
The tour guide has to be a Saudi citizen that is well trained and is polite.
The tour guide service has to be linked to Careem or Uber for convenience and also because Uber and Careem are very famous in Saudi so tourists will be finding our tour guide services easily just by downloading Uber or Careem.
I will be providing you with some guidlines for the project from the professor please only write about my part which is Industry/Market feability nothing else.
As for the SWOT analysis try to analyze everything that is related to the business.
And as for the Competitor analysis i’ve asked my professor to make it a little bit clearer because there should be a direct competitor indirect competitor and future possible competitors, for example let’s have starbucks a direct competitor to starbucks would be Tim hortons, Self made coffee at home, Dunkin Donuts etc. Indirect competitor for a starbucks coffee would be energy drinks it serves the same purpose trying to stay awake, chocolates etc.
Because you have to make a table which will be included in my attachments in Ch 5 a competitor analysis grid. here is what the professor said about the direct and indirect competitors:
