A. Topic Using material from the Source Reader, please write a paper in which you explain the Moral Law Tradition and Utilitarianism. After explaining the evolution of the central ideas of the two traditions, apply both traditions to the following scenario and explain both what someone in each tradition should do and WHY he/she should do it. Scenario A student finds a copy of an important midterm exam in the hallway outside a professor s door the afternoon before the exam. The student is enrolled in this course and not doing very well at this point. It is very important for her/him to get a good grade to keep her/his scholarship. What should the student do, and why should he/she do it? B. Content Do not go into great detail about each of the authors you read in these traditions. Rather, seek to make general observations explaining the evolution of the core beliefs and ideas within the two traditions, and then explain how the tradition might be applied in the example you are given above.
